Danielle & Matt's Two-Day Celebration at Stowe Mountain Resort
Imagine this:
You film an intimate wedding ceremony all day at a mountain resort... then, with just a few hours to spare, you head back to your office to edit a trailer that needs to be ready to show on a big screen in front of all the guests the very next day.
That was the challenge — and the honor — of Danielle and Matt’s wedding weekend at Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont.
Their celebration started with a private ceremony on one of the resort’s patios, surrounded by close family, friends and incredible mountain views.
Matt’s brother officiated the ceremony, adding a personal, emotional touch that made the day even more memorable.
Before the ceremony, we took golf carts across the resort to chase the best photo and video spots — exploring scenic overlooks, wooded paths, and everything Stowe had to offer.
It was one of those perfect Vermont summer days, and it felt like every corner of the resort offered a new, beautiful backdrop.
That evening, while the guests enjoyed their first night of celebration, I went back to my office and got to work.
I edited a highlight trailer overnight — a fast but thoughtful edit designed to bring the emotion of Friday’s ceremony into Saturday’s reception for all the guests who couldn’t be there.
The next evening, just before Danielle and Matt’s grand entrance into the reception, the trailer played on a projector in the ballroom.
I had coordinated with their DJ to make sure the timing was seamless.
Watching the trailer on the big screen, seeing the crowd's reactions — the laughter, the tears, the excitement — was an incredible experience.
It’s not every day you get to watch your work premiere live for an audience filled with family and friends.
Danielle and Matt’s two-day wedding wasn’t just beautiful — it was full of energy, heart, and trust.
And getting to help tell their story, across two unforgettable days, was a reminder of what makes wedding filmmaking so special.
Sometimes the best moments aren’t just captured — they’re shared in ways that make the memories even more powerful.
